FlangeFlash, named a finalist for the Best of IBS Awards, headlines comprehensive residential and commercial weather-protection lineup.
OLD HICKORY, Tenn. – TYPAR®, a Magnera Brand, will spotlight its latest advancements in building-envelope performance at the 2026 International Builders’ Show (IBS), Feb. 17–19 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida. TYPAR is a leading provider of high-performance building wrap, flashing, tapes and accessories. Located in booth W2966, TYPAR will highlight new and expanded solutions designed to help residential and commercial builders streamline installation, improve inspection confidence and deliver long-term durability—without compromising efficiency on the jobsite.
Headlining the booth is TYPAR FlangeFlash, a purpose-built flashing solution engineered to simplify window and door installations while improving long-term weather protection. Designed for fast, consistent application, FlangeFlash helps ensure reliable sealing at critical rough-opening details—supporting both installation accuracy and overall system performance across residential and light commercial projects. FlangeFlash earned recognition as a finalist for the Best of IBS Awards, which are awarded annually during the show and celebrate the most innovative and impactful products and solutions in the residential construction industry.
“TYPAR FlangeFlash reflects how we’re continuing to evolve our flashing portfolio around real jobsite needs—speed, reliability and confidence in the final installation,” said Addison Seay, TYPAR brand manager. “At IBS, we’re showing how our system approach helps builders and contractors protect the building envelope more efficiently, while meeting rising expectations for performance and durability.”
Also featured is TYPAR Clear Acrylic Flashing, the first truly transparent window and door flashing on the market and the 2025 Best of IBS Award – Most Innovative Building Material Product winner. Developed in response to emerging code and inspection requirements, Clear Acrylic Flashing allows full visibility of nail and screw fin patterns during installation—helping reduce inspection issues and costly callbacks—while delivering robust waterproofing, UV resistance and long-term flexibility through its advanced acrylic adhesive.
TYPAR will also showcase its new Liquid Flashing, a premium, gun-grade elastomeric liquid flashing formulated for window and door installations, joint detailing and air-barrier components in both new construction and retrofit applications. Easy to apply and tool, Liquid Flashing offers excellent adhesion without primer on most substrates, cures within 48–72 hours and provides reliable performance across a wide range of temperatures.
Looking ahead, TYPAR will preview the upcoming launch of TYPAR Commercial Wrap Peel & Stick, an expansion of the company’s peel-and-stick portfolio. The new building wrap combines the installation speed and versatility of peel-and-stick technology with the enhanced durability and performance of TYPAR’s commercial-grade wrap. Designed to adhere to a wide range of substrates and install in any direction, it delivers exceptional tear strength and up to 12 months of UV resistance—supporting both commercial and mixed-use construction needs.
All TYPAR wraps, flashings, tapes and accessories are engineered to work together as part of the TYPAR Weather Protection System, which balances water and air holdout with moisture vapor transmission to support energy efficiency and long-term building performance. When installed as a complete system, TYPAR offers the industry’s only limited lifetime warranty covering both materials and labor*.
During the show, TYPAR will also host a social event in booth W2966 from 2–4 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 17, offering attendees an opportunity to connect with the TYPAR team and learn more about its expanding product portfolio.
